Treatment of advanced prostate cancer in combination with LHRH agonist therapy. Prevention of disease flare associated with the use of LHRH agonists.

HYPERTENSION : CAPOTEN (captopril) is indicated for the treatment of hypertension.

In using CAPOTEN, consideration should be given to the risk of neutropenia/agranulocytosis.

CAPOTEN is effective alone and in combination with other antihypertensive agents, especially thiazide-type diuretics. The blood pressure lowering effects of captopril and thiazides are approximately additive.

MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION : CAPOTEN is indicated to improve survival following myocardial infarction in clinically stable patients with left ventricular dysfunction, manifested as an ejection fraction less than or equal to 40% and to reduce the incidence of overt heart failure, and subsequent hospitalisations for congestive heart failure in these patients. The efficacy data for the use of CAPOTEN following myocardial infarction are strongest for initiation of therapy beyond 3 days post-infarct.

HEART FAILURE : CAPOTEN (captopril) is indicated for the treatment of heart failure. In symptomatic patients it is recommended that CAPOTEN be administered together with a diuretic.

DIABETIC NEPHROPATHY : CAPOTEN is indicated for the treatment of diabetic nephropathy in patients with Type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.

Treatment of acute, nonmalignant gastric and duodenal ulcers. Maintenance therapy to prevent the recurrence of duodenal ulcers.

Patients with moderate to severe angina pectoris due to atherosclerotic coronary artery disease or coronary artery spasm (vasospastic angina).

CARDIZEM CD is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. CARDIZEM CD is also indicated for the management of chronic stable angina (effort- associated angina) where there is no evidence of vasospastic or unstable angina. Since the safety and efficacy of CD capsules in the management of unstable or vasospastic angina has not been substantiated, use of this formulation for these indications is not recommended.

CECLOR CD is indicated for the treatment of the following types of infections caused by susceptible organisms, in adults and children aged 12 years or older. Acute bronchitis and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis. Upper respiratory infections, including pharyngitis, tonsillitis and acute bacterial sinusitis. Community-acquired pneumonia of mild to moderate severity (excluding atypical pneumonia). Symptomatic lower urinary tract infections, including cystitis. Skin and skin structure infections.

It is used to treat infections caused by bacteria in different parts of the body, including infections of the: ears, nose, throat and tonsils (upper respiratory tract); chest and lungs (lower respiratory tract); bladder and kidneys (urinary tract); skin.

Celestone-M is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses such as atopic eczema, infantile eczema, nummular eczema, anogenital and senile pruritus, contact dermatitis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, solar dermatitis, stasis dermatitis and psoriasis. Celestone-M is indicated for the maintenance therapy.

Celestone Chronodose is indicated in the treatment of both severe and moderate conditions, in acute and chronic self-limiting diseases responsive to systemic corticosteroid therapy, especially in patients for whom treatment with oral corticosteroid medication is not feasible.
