Sigmacort 0.5% Cream

A mild, topical corticosteroid.

  • Gentle enough to use on the face and body.

  • Suitable for children aged 2 years and up.

  • It provides gentle relief for itching, redness and inflammation caused by non-infective inflammatory skin conditions including: mild eczema/dermatitis, sunburn, rashes, anal & genital itching and insect bites.

Sigmacort 1% Cream

Water miscible and lanolin free cream for temporary relief of redness, itching and inflammation of the skin.

  • Light and cool on your skin.

  • Easy to spread over sore inflamed areas of skin.

  • Drying effect making them suitable for moist, weeping skin conditions.

  • Suits skin that folds or bends, or areas that may touch or rub together.

  • Less greasy than an ointment.

  • Washes away with water.

Sigmacort 1% Ointment

Anhydrous ointment base for temporary relief of redness, itching and inflammation of skin.

  • Thicker, greasier and more lubricating than creams.

  • Helps seal the skin, allowing the corticosteroid to be more easily absorbed - making it stronger than the cream version.

  • Has a moisturising effect and is useful for treating very dry and thickened skin.

  • Contains no preservatives, so is less irritating and ideal for sensitive skin.

  • Is less likely to cause stinging than creams.
